Full Specifications and Features

Overview

Like the rest of the range the BCM 400 is designed to provide the customer with a flexible solution which starts as TDM and then migrates the customer to IP. The 400 still has all the applications of the smaller platforms as well as the data features. The data features include a VPN server which can be useful for small numbers of home or mobile workers, providing secure connection across a public network.

One of the most useful features available on all three platforms is the in-built fax server which provides fax to and from a users email inbox.  Once in the user's mail box the faxes can be stored, filed and saved just as any other type data.  The BCM Fax license can be added to any of the systems with the simple addition of a license key, a process that is the same for any of the licenses such as voicemail etc.

Deploying Remote or Mobile Workers
Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) for enhanced security. Intra-site Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) enable organisations to use the public Internet for secure communications, reducing the need for costly leased lines. Nortel Contivity clients can be

- loaded on to users' remote PCs and laptops delivering secure access from any location providing full access to company systems including voicemail, Unified messaging and remote IP telephony.

Easy System Management

Whether you select traditional or IP telephony the BCM can be managed efficiently over single or multiple sites.

Monitoring Critical Support or Sales Teams

Call centre applications combine personalised agent interaction and customer support with advanced web based solutions. The silent monitoring feature enables supervisors to listen to calls as they occur, helping to ensure high levels of customer service. Such applications ensure the part of your business that generates the revenue, or supports your customers is managed, reported on and run to maximum efficiency.

Interactive Voice Response (IVR) for improved profitability. Now smaller companies can cut down on customer hold times, increase the efficiency of their employees, and improve customer service by offering information and ordering capabilities from the keypad of any touch-tone phone.

Key Reasons to Choose BCM
